抹茶 Matcha

お抹茶が好きで毎朝のんでいる

のんでいるといっても、茶筅を使いたてているわけではない

湯呑茶碗に入れた抹茶に、ポットから熱湯を注ぎ、

スプーンでかき混ぜながらのんでいる

だまになる

利休さんや、お茶の道を究めている方々からは

お叱りをうけるかもしれないが、

以前にお茶農家さんがそのような飲み方をしているのを

テレビで拝見し、目から鱗だったから、、

型は美しく大切だが、私のような庶民があまりこだわりすぎると

窮屈になったり敷居が高くなるように感じる

でも一度利休さんの教えを、しかるべき場所で、

きちんと学んでみたいとも思っている

まずは、茶筅だけでも手に入れたほうがよいのだろう、、

I enjoy Matcha every morning.

I'm not making it in a proper tea ceremony way using ChaSen**.
I just pour boiling water from the pot into the Matcha powder in a cup

and stirring it with a spoon.....
It get clumpy (can't mix it up well) as you imagine.

Rikyu san and other people who are mastering the way of tea may be shocked..

Let me excuse myself..
I saw tea farmers on TV, who have been drinking like that before.
The scales had fallen from my eyes.

I do think the manners, proper procedure serving tea(otemae) ,
is essential to grasp the essence of the tea ceremony.

but being too obsessive about something,
that could lead to a loss of flexibility in thinking.
people sometimes feel stiff or hesitant to aproach it.

but one day, I'd love to learn Teaching of Rikyu san properly.
Anyway, maybe I better to get ChaSen..
